RichCity Improv

May 10 2012

RichCity Improv is Tickle Me Pickle’s annual secondary school improv tournament, featuring teams from across Richmond.  Every year, the very best young improvisers come together to bring the laughs and to raise some money for charity.

Our 2011 winner was Richmond High! In a close finale against Palmer they pulled out a repeat victory.  Congrats to all members of the Richmond High team, and all who participated this year!

Proceeds from our RichCity Improv shows go to Chimo Crisis Services.  Created in Richmond, British Columbia in 1973, CHIMO Crisis Services now serves over 10,000 individuals and families each year from different cultural backgrounds, age groups, family lifestyles, and economic situations. CHIMO provides diverse services from community building to prevention, from individual crisis support to advocacy, and from peer support to education. CHIMO engages in collaborative community planning and develops innovative resources to address emerging needs.
